The main objective of the institution is to be distinguished as a centre of excellence, which will always work to create a peaceful and crimefree society by providing need based proper quality Forensic education and training to Students and present allied professionals working for Chhattisgarh State in the field of Forensic Science. We aspire to become a centre of excellence for Forensic education, research and Training in order to make the crime investigation process more efficient which will strengthen the judicial system.

• The programme will make students familiar with the concept, types and causes of crime and the investigative techniques.
• It will develop the critical and analytical subject specific skills involving the principles, practices and techniques of specific field between the students.
• It will emphasize the importance of scientific methods in crime detection by enhancing knowledge, in depth understanding and application of forensic science, policing and criminal investigation by teaching and research.
• It will develop competence in research methods and presentation of information.
• The course will develop skills as such forensic identification, forensic problem solving either independently or as a team member.
• This course will keep the students abreast with all recent developments and emerging trends in Forensic science, Ethics and the law.
• It will be helpful in highlighting the importance of forensic science for perseverance of the society.

• Develop an understanding of the application of Forensic Science, Photography, and Crime Scene Management, Evidence collection and Preservation, and chain of custody.
• Gain knowledge on techniques of Forensic Physics, Forensic Ballistics, Forensic Biology, Serology, DNA profiling, Cyber Forensics, Drugs & Poison analysis, Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology.
• Develop an understanding and application of the scientific methods in crime investigation to help in delivering immediate justice.
