A garment usually starts with fabric. Resin Reverie started with a question \u2014 what happens if fashion stops trying to move like water and instead freezes it mid-motion? Three fashion design students from Anjaneya University decided to explore that idea, resulting in a collection that earned recognition at a national design platform.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fashion innovation rarely comes from following the rulebook. It comes from students willing to get their hands into materials nobody expects to see on a runway \u2014 and resin is exactly that kind of material. Hard, glassy, unforgiving if you get the process wrong. Yet in the hands of Gitu Rani Sahu, Janvi Verma, and B. Roshni, it became the backbone of a collection that looks less like clothing and more like sculpture that agreed to be worn.<\/span><\/p>\n

What Is Resin Reverie?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Resin Reverie is an avant-garde fashion collection conceived and designed by students from the Department of Fashion Design<\/strong><\/a>, Anjaneya University, one of the top fashion design colleges in Raipur,<\/a><\/strong> Chhattisgarh. It isn’t built around a single dress or one idea repeated across a line. It’s built around a material behaving like something it isn’t \u2014 solid resin standing in for liquid water, structured silhouettes suggesting soft, drifting motion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gitu Rani Sahu, Janvi Verma, and B. Roshni worked as a team through concept, material testing, and construction. Long hours went into figuring out how a rigid material could still drape, twist, or catch light the way fabric does \u2014 that’s the kind of patience avant-garde work demands, and the three student designers put it in before a single piece was runway-ready.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inspiration Behind the Collection<\/b><\/h2>\n

Nature gave this collection its vocabulary. The students drew from four recurring images and let those references guide every design decision that followed.<\/span><\/p>\n
